Mariners Shut Out

The Seattle Mariners were shut out in
what was a pitching duel. The LA
Dodgers won 1-0.

The Dodgers scored their run in the
third inning when Corey Seager singled
with two outs. Kyle Seager struck out
to end the game.  My thought is why
are you letting your little brother beat
you.

Marco Gonzales pitched very well for
the second time in a row as you can
see by the score after having two
terrible starts to begin the season.
It looks like he is now on track.

Marco went seven innings giving up
two hits, a walk and six strike outs.
The bullpen continue to do a stellar
job going two innings without a hit
allowing the Mariners to have a
chance to win.

The Mariners were able to get only
one hit which was by their best
hitter so far on the season in Mitch
Haniger. The Mariners were only
able to walk twice and struck out
14 times. Must have been holes in
the bats. lol

Ty France didn't start the game
after being hit on Monday in the
arm.  He did pinch hit for Trammell
in the 8th inning.

The Mariners have Wednesday off
then have a four game series in Boston
against the Red Sox.  The Sox got off
to a terrible start but since have been
winning leading the American League
East. How good the Mariners really
are be measured  on this road trip as
they face the Astros for four games
as well before coming back to Seattle.

Justin Dunn who was passed over in
the Dodgers series will make the start
Thursday in Boston followed by Yusei
Kikuchi on Friday.

Most of the Red Sox wins have been
come behind in the same manner as
the Mariners so it could be an interesting
series. Maybe they will go back and forth.
lol
