afternoon for the Zags at Oregon State.
The Zags led by only four points at half
time however dominated the second
half winning 81-61.
Graham Ike back for his third game
since being injured for a few. He
dominated once again this time
scoring 35 points. He made 13 of
18 from the field and 8 of 9 from
the foul line. At this point he could
be a good player in the NBA.
The Zags shot 57.1 percent and
made 50 points inside while the
Beavers had 10.
Gonzaga will play WSU Cougars on
Tuesday night at home. The second
game this year between both teams.
The Zags won at the Cougars 86-65
in their first match up on January 15.
After losing recently the Zags know they
have to do better.
The Cougars lost to Santa Clara in a
tough game in Pullman 96-92. Santa
Clara is a right ahead of the Zags so
maybe the Cougs will knock of the
Zags this time of the can play the
same way.
Eemeli Yalaho who has been a bit
inconsistent led the Cougars led
them with 21 points while Ace Glass
had 20 points. They had four of
five starters score in double figures
unlike against Oregon State on
Wednesday. Both teams shot well
from the field though lost despite
shooting better from outside the
three point line. Go Cougs.
The Washington Huskies play UCLA
on the road. The Bruins have done well
over the Huskies at home over the
years. The Huskies need this one
if they want to make it into the
NCAA tournament this March.
Go Huskies.
