a tie 8-8. Most of these early games
have shown the offense in both sides.
Both the Mariners and Royals had an
inning where they scored four runs
each with the Mariners. The Mariners
had three home runs all by minor
leaguers.
Bryan Woo had his first start of the
spring going one and one-third innings
giving up two hits and a run. He had no
walks and struck out two. Munoz came
in the third after a minor league pitcher
finished the second. Munoz went a
full inning giving up no hits. Bazardo
gave up no runs after Munoz.
The Royals got three runs off Dane
Dunning in relief after starting the
opening game of the spring for the
Mariners. No other big names in
relief by the Mariners.
Victor Labrada who played in left
field and Brennen Davis in right
both expected to play in the minors
for depth each had three hits scoring
two runs. Davis a big guy had one of
three home runs. He is a local player
from Chandler Arizona. The Mariners
signed him as a minor league free
agent after playing for the Yankees
minor leagues.
Thursday the Mariners play Cleveland
Guardians in Peoria with Bryce Miller
making his first start. That leaves Luis
Castillo to make his first start.
