though near the end the Huskies had
to foul the Bruins a lot to have a chance
to win.
The Huskies got off to a hot start
however it didn't last though. The
Bruins ended up playing some good
defense and the Huskies went over
four minutes without making a field
goal in the second half.
The Bruins had an eight point lead
however scraping and fouling at
the end gave them a chance though
they lost in the end
Final Bruins 77 Huskies 73
Wesley Yates lead the Huskies with 21
points. Hannes Steinbach had 13
points but didn't look like he was part
of the offense like most of the year.
Also the Bruins didn't allow him have
double digits in rebounds either which
he has done much of the season.
Zoom Diallo didn't have a big night
either with seven points only.
Quimari Peterson had a key three
point shot made at 1: 19 putting
Huskies within six points. Without
that the Huskies wouldn't have
any chance to win it would have
been nice if the Huskies could have
stolen a game on the road but it
wasn't meant to me. A young team
we hope the Huskies learned
something.
The Huskies play Penn State at home
on Wednesday night. Penn State
is at the bottom of the Big Ten with
a 1-11 record. This is a must win for
the Huskies. The Huskies have
seven games left on the season.
They are all winnable and they
are 12-12 on the season overall.
Making the NCAA tournament
this should give them an opportunity.
They don't have a shot to be in
the top six of the conference even
if they won all seven but they could
go into the three or four next teams.
Go Dawgs.
