Seahawks Hire Offensive Coordinator

There was thought that the Seahawks
would hire within the organization
for the offensive coordinator with
possible of four offensive coaches
however it looks like it won't be the
case.

It looks like division rival San Francisco
49ers tight end coach Brian Fleury.
He is credited in making George Kittle
the tight end he is.  So the Seahawks
will look at improving the running
game. This last season teams like
the Rams used three tight ends at
times.  We could see the Seahawks
do more of the same though they
began the season using a fullback.

Rookie Robbie Ouzts was the starter
however he played in 12 games so
it was used in limits. If he can stay
healthy next season that would help.
Brady Russell was the backup however
he is best on special teams and used
some as the third tight end.

AJ Barner was the Seahawks primary
tight end being second in receptions
to wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
He had the loan offensive touchdown
in the Superbowl. We see what his
approvement next season. Could have
some good catches like Kittle.

At this point don't know the status
of Ken Walker III however the Seahawks
likely try to keep him. If they can't
sign him to a multi year contract
they can put the franchise tag on him.
Zach Charbonnett is expect out
for some of next season the Seahawks
could look at drafting a running back
as well.

News is that quarterback coach
Andrew Janocko is going to the
Las Vegas as offensive coordinator
to be with Klint Kubiak. He to
interviewed for the same position
with the Seahawks. Now we see
who might be the next Seahawks
qb coach and whether other
offensive coaches stay or not.
Go Hawks!
