will depend a lot on an improved defense
however the offense will need to play
their part to.
Since Pete Carroll has been coach of
the Seahawks the running game has been
an important part. What the Seahawks
have done is add two new members to
the running game through this year’s draft.
They have had issues in recent seasons
keeping the running backs healthy.
Ken Walker coming off a rookie season
over 1000 yards expected to be the starter.
Zach Charbonnet second round pick from
UCLA is expected to be the primary backup.
Besides giving Walker a breather we could see
him in on short yardage situations including
at the goal.
Not sure how many running backs the Seahawks
will keep 7th round Kenny McIntosh from Georgia.
He will make every effort to be the number two
running. DeeJay Dallas a fourth round pick in 2020
draft will look to get more playing time too.
As we know the starting quarterback is expected
to be Geno Smith after signing a free agent contract
after being the starter last season. Drew Lock is the
number two quarterback after resigning with the
Seahawks. Holton Ahlers a rookie undrafted free agent
signing is the third quarterback. He could be on the
practice squad he makes the grade.
Next time on the Seahawks we will look at the wide receivers
and possibly the offensive line. Go Hawks!
