the Miami Marlins at home but it
wasn't meant to be.
The Marlins won 4-1. It was an interesting
game. Luis Castillo walked a career high
six walks and the Mariners had only four
hit.
The Mariners could have had more hits
however the Marlins outfield did a great
job making fantastic catches against the
fence. This included a catch in the 9th
when the Marlins took away a grand slam
from Eugenio Suarez in the 9th inning
giving the Mariners a tie. Instead the
Mariners only had sacrifice fly and the
only one run in the game for them.
The Mariners had only four hits and two
of them were doubles by Cal Raleigh
and Teoscar Hernandez. Of course they
could have had more hits along with
runs wasn't for the Marlins defense.
Don't really know the Mariners would have
won or not but would have made it
exciting.
The Mariners have Thursday off and
then take on the Chicago White Sox
for three over the weekend. The Mariners
go on the road for three against the Yankees and three against the Baltimore
Orioles before returning home. The
Yankees series will be interesting since
Aaron Judge is out with a toe injury.
Against the White Sox Bryan Woo will start
on Friday night followed by Logan Gilbert.
Bryce Miller will start on Sunday.. Go M's.
