Saturday afternoon losing in 11 innings
to the White Sox 4-3.
It looked like serveral occasions the Mariners would win but couldn't get
a hit after the fifth inning. Logan Gilbert
pitched well into the sixth inning when
he left with one out. Matt Brash finished
the sixth. Topa and Munoz did well in
the seventh and eighth. Paul Sewald
gave up the tying run in the 9th inning.
The Mariners had Julio and Hernandez
on second and third after both steamed a base. Cal Raleigh pinch hitting for Jarred
Kelenic with one out couldn't hit at least
a sacrifice fly struck out and Caballero
bounced out to end the 10th.
In the 11th the White Sox were able to
score a run but the Mariners were unable
tie it. So it was that. Zach Remillard
who came in Tim Anderson who had
to leave the game drove in both the
tying and winning run made his major
league debut. His first at bat was a
bunt single. He had three hits on the
day. Quite to say the truth.
See if Bryce Miller can help the Mariners
win the final game and the series for the
Mariners on Sunday
We will go over the Seahawks defensive
backs Sunday morning
