Mariners Lose Again In Philadelphia

It isn't easy to win on the road especially
in Philadelphia. The Phillies are on a role
right now.

Final  Phillies 6 Mariners 4

The Mariners were behind 4-1 heading
into the seventh inning. Bryce Miller
Made his first start in a couple months.
He looked like he pitched well despite
making a couple mistakes. He ended
up going five innings giving up four
runs on 84 pitches.

The Mariners tied the game in the
7th inning when Cal and Eugenio
both hit doubles on base. The
fortunate thing is Matt Brash gave
up a home  run in 8th to give the
Phillies the win.

The Mariners made several moves
on Tuesday before the game. Besides
activating Miller they put Trent Thornton
on the 60 day injured. As expected they
would send down a reliever so Casey Legunmina was optioned to Tacoma.
They optioned Jackson Kowar to Tacoma
as well. They brought up reliever Saury
Lao from Tacoma. Expect him to be the
the number 8 reliever on the team right
now.  Go M's.
