this coming Saturday night at home against
the Colorado State Rams.
This will be the second season in the
Big Ten for the Huskies while Rams
are in their final season in the Mountain
West Conference.
The Rams are expected to be in the
middle of the mountain West while the Huskies about the same in Big Ten.
The Huskies should win the game
however we hope the Rams will give
them a good show. The first game
is usually against a lighter team
unless two teams are showing off
in front of a national audience.
Last year the Rams were 6-1 in
the conference while 8-5 overall.
A reason they will probably lose to
the Huskies. Bosie State is figured
to win again and is ranked #23
nationally.
The Huskies and the Rams have
never played against each other
before. Right now the Huskies
are favored by 22.5 points.
Last year the Rams ran the ball
35 times a game for an average
of 4 7 yards per carry. The passed
30 times completing 60 percent.
This will be good for the Huskies
in first game since they have a
lot of new players on the defense
side. Let us see how good they are.
The last several years teams have
been able run on them. We hope
to see improve there.
The Rams are lead offensively by
quarterback junior Brayden Fowler-
Nicolosu who had 14 touchdowns
thrown and nine interceptions.
He isn't known to run the ball often.
On average three and a half times
per game. Gaining 1.7 per carry.
Offense they have three wide receivers
like the Huskies. They have three transfers
on offense at wide receiver, tight end and
right guard starting who are all seniors.
Five as backups. On defense they have
five transfers transfer. Like the Huskies
two are at linebacker. Also five on the
second team.
The game begins Saturday night at 8 pm
Pacific time and can be watched on the
Big Ten Network. Go Dawgs
