Mariners End Losing Streak

The Mariners  broke their losing streak
and had a big offensive explosion.
We hope this will continue on Sunday
and more at home.

Bryce Miller gave up only two runs
in five and one-third inning.  Julio
Rodriguez  had two home runs
with three hits, scored three times
and drove in four runs.  Julio's
first home was in the first inning
putting them up with 2-0 lead.
The Braves did tie the game at
2-2.

In the seventh inning the Mariners
scored four runs with Julio hitting
his second two-run homer. Eugenio
Suarez had a solo home run and
JP Crawford drove in Jorge Polanco
with final run that inning.

In the 8th inning Josh Naylor hit
a third-run homer.  In the top of
the 9th Cal Raleigh hit his 52nd
home run in the season.

Gabe Speier who had a rough game
on Friday was able to get two outs
without giving up a round. In the
7th Eduardo Bazardo was able to get
three outs. In the 8th inning Caleb
Ferguson who has been struggling
lately as well  only gave up a hit
and no runs. Luke Jackson finished
up getting through the 9th with
no runs.

Harry Ford was able to have another
at bat in the 9th pinch hitting for
Randy Arozarena. He didn't get a hit
but that is ok. Luke Raley played left
field in the 9th.

The Mariners play a day game on Sunday.
Let's see if Harry will be able to start
at catcher. Most likely Cal will dh.
Go M's.
