Seattle Mariners clinched a spot to
the spot in the playoffs.
Final Mariners 4 Rockies 3
For seven innings the Rockies led
most of the way. In the eight inning
the Mariners loaded the bases and
Josh Naylor hit a double to clear
the bases. Nothing better unless
it was a grand slam home run.
In recent games the Mariners have
shown hitting doubles is as important
as home runs and might even be more
exciting. For those who were around
30 years ago when Edgar Martinez
hit a double to score Ken Griffey Jr.
to advance to the next level of the
playoffs. We hope this time the M's
can make it all the way to the World
Series.
The Mariners right now have the healthiest
they have been all season long. The
pitching be the best all season long.
We hope with rest Bryan Woo will be
ready to go.
Bryce Miller went five and two-thirds
innings giving up the three runs. The
bullpen did their job to keep them
in the game giving up just two hits.
Andre Munoz had another save.
The Mariners had only three hits
however walks worked into the
equation for the win.
Wednesday night which should be
loud Luis Castillo will go for the
Mariners. If he pitches anywhere
like he did in his last outing the
Mariners may clinch the division
title. Go M's.
