runs however the bullpen didn't do
their job.
This has been the trouble since the
all- star break and the story we have
seen for too long. When the offense is
good the pitching isn't and vice versa.
Final Rays 6 Mariners 5.
Rays had two runs in the first. The
Mariners did take lead in the 4th
when Cal and Julio had back to back
home runs. Jorge had a home run
as well.
The Rays had two runs in the six and
seventh inning each. Bryan Woo
gave up a run before leaving in the
sixth before leaving without any outs.
Caleb Ferguson gave up the other run.
Gabe Speier gave up the two in the
7th.
The Mariners did make it interesting
in the 9th where Mitch Garver hit
a sacrifice fly scoring Polanco.
The Mariners did have runners on
base when they couldn't tie it
This feels so familiar over the years.
The Mariners needs to get out of
this funk. See if they can win Wednesday
and take two out of three at least against
the Braves. Go M's.
