WSU Cougars Lose Big Time

North Texas beat the Cougars 59-10.
Not something expected even if a loss
was in the cards.

With a new coaching staff and lot
of new players will this happen
more often or a loss like this won't
help.

Will there be changes on the offense
or the defense for that matter.

A good thing is it is only the third game
of the season. How will it be for the
Cougars heading into the Apple Cup
next week. Rival games are usually
different than any other game so will
the Cougars make it to be a turnaround
or not.

The Cougars had two fumbles and
three interceptions in the game which
didn't help. Jaxon Potter who started
at QB for the Cougars completed 16
of 2e passes for 139 yards with no
touchdowns and three interceptions.

Zevi Eckhaus who many Cougar fans
I am sure thought would be the starter
at QB came in and completed 7 of 10
for 72 yards didn't throw a touchdown
either. He did have a touchdown running
in with 1:57 left in the game..With a
new coaching staff who became QB
was a choice. Now we wonder whether
a change happen in the Apple Cup.

North Texas had eight touchdowns
on the day with four on the ground
and four in the air. The longest run
for a touchdown was 14  yards while
12 was longest in the air. So how
many was the major problem.

Now the Cougars will have to see whether
they can have a confidence builder
or not against the Huskies next week.
