are both 2-0 now heading into week 3.
The Cougars will be on the road next
Saturday at North Texas while the
Huskies have a bye.
The Cougars offense played much
better on Saturday then the week
before.
The final WSU 36 San Diego State 13
SDSU scored first on a 36 yard pass
at then ten minutes mark of the first
quarter. It was pretty much the Cougars
after that scoring 29 unanswered points.
Almost five minutes later the Cougars
tied the game at seven on a 3 yard
pass from QB Jaxon Potter to receiver
Trey Leckner who later on had another
touchdown catch.
The second quarter the Cougars kicked
a 49 yard field goal early on. They caused
a safety at 1:06 remaining of the half.
They ended the first half with Leckner's
second td.
The Cougars had a touchdown and
field goal in the third quarter. SDSU
ended the quarter with a touchdown
however we're not able to convert
a 2pt attempt.
The Cougars backup quarterback
Julian Dugger ran in for three yards
at 2:48 remaining in the game to
end it. Good job Cougars.
The Washington Huskies dominated
little brother UC Davis winning 70-10.
The Huskies 628 total yardage with
rushing and passing both over 300
yards.
The Huskies first score was in just
under the first three minutes of the
first quarter. UC Davis had the ball
first in which they were stopped.
It took the Huskies going three plays
for 60 yards with Jonah Coleman
scoring on a 15 yard run. He had
another run this time for one yard
less than four minutes later. In
total Coleman had five touchdowns.
Davis had a field goal making it
interesting to end the first quarter.
The second quarter the Huskies
had two touchdowns where qb
Desmond Williams Jr. ran in for
8 yards. A few minutes later Coleman
had his third touchdown of the
game. Davis scored a touchdown
and final points at 5:28 mark
remaining in the first half. Coleman
had his 4th touchdown at 2:36
then Denzel Boston had a 78 yard
punt return.
Halftime score Washington 42 UC Davis 10
The Huskies had two touchdowns in
both the third and 4th quarters. Backup
QB Kai Horton had a 10 yard run for the
first touchdown in the 4th quarter.

completing 16 for 254 yards and one
touchdown. Jonah Coleman ran for
111 yards on 15 carries and the five
