2-2 heading into the last game of September.
College football always seems to go by
fast until the bowl games.
The Cougars have rough losses in the
last two outings against North Texas
and Washington Huskies. The Apple
Cup the Cougars offense did look better
for three quarters. Can't say for the
defense.
The Cougars are doing better than their
counterpart in the Pac-12 the Oregon
State Beavers who are 0-4.
The game is at Colorado State where
they are favored 5.5 points over Cougars.
We hope the Cougars can find a way
to win. CSU will be joining the Pac-12
next season so for the foreseeable
future they will face each other.
We hope a few years down the road
there will be an Easter Conference
and. Western Conference. If so
they both will be split in half as well.
We hope the Cougars will join in.
Colorado State lost their season opener
to the Huskies 38-21. Their following
were close games beating Northern
Colorado 21-17 then lost to USTA 17-16.
A good reason this is expected to be
close too. The UST game they scored
with a few seconds remaining. The
Buffaloes went for a two point conversation
that failed for the difference.
Jackson Brosseau who came into the
game last week is expected to start
against the Cougars. He was 10 of
12 for 78 yards and a touchdown.
Colorado State ran for 153 yards.
It is important the Cougars have no
turnovers. Also they need to run
better than they have on the season
so far. The most important is the
defense do a better job. Go Cougs!
