Tuesday night of they could have had
enough runs in the first inning.
Mariners scored a run in the first
inning when they loaded the bases.
Patrick Wisdom hit a ball deep short
and the White Sox were not able to
complete a double play. Julio Rodriguez
scored the lone run. The Mariners
didn't have another run or hit in the
game. They continued having trouble
against lefties.
Bryce Miller pitched well going five
and two-thirds innings. He only gave
up one hit, one walk and no runs.
Miller struck out seven too.
Jose Ferrer came in to get the
fine out striking out the batter
with tying run base.
Piggy backing Luis Castillo came
in struck out the side in the 7th.
In the 8th the White Sox first hitter
grounded to Naylor. Former Mariner
Jarred Kelenic had a single. The
final two batters flied and grounded
out. Though still things did look
going into the 9th. Castillo walked
and hit a batter. They brought in
Munoz who gave up a couple hits
but both runs went to Castillo.
In the bottom of the 9th the White
Sox struck out the side.
Another game where the Mariners
had good pitching but no run
support.
Wednesday afternoon Emerson
Hancock will start and see if the
Mariners can take the series.
