Super Bowl.
Most fans don't look at special teams
in that way however beating the 49ers
twice it certainly got them off to a good
starts. Not only did the defense cause
turnovers so did the special teams.
Block field goals and punts can do the job.
The Seahawks acquired Irvin Charles
a special teams specialist they acquired
from the New York Jets for a 2028 7th
round pick. It is interesting to send a
pick for two years from now and the last
round as well.
Depending on the Seahawks needs next
April they could made a trade with it. The
Seahawks have 11 picks next year so not
a dire need. With those amount of picks
they may look to move up in some rounds.
Charles is listed as a wide receiver but
it will be his special teams that they did
acquire. The Seahawks also resigned
Jake Bobo who is a special teams player.
Bobo again will be the strong of receivers.
Speed is an important part of special
teams.
Charles I never heard of but most special
team players I don't unless they are punt
or kick off returners. They are usually
guys that are good receivers too.
We will see whether the Seahawks will
make any other moves or not. Go Hawks.
