Mariners Beat Struggling Astros Again

For the second game in a row the
Mariners beat the Astros on Tuesday
night 10-2.

The Mariners scored two runs on
a home run by Randy Arozarena in
the second inning. The Astros
bounced back with a run in the
bottom of the second and  third.

Dominic Canzone hit a grand slam
in the 4th inning his career first.
The Mariners added a run in the
5th and 7th plus two in the 9th
for good measure. Arozarena
went four for four and four runs.
Good news on the Cal Raleigh
side as he had two hits while
scoring three times.

Bryan Woo went six innings
before Alex Hoppe came in
for two innings. With the big
lead along with throwing over
a hundred pitches was enough
for Woo. Hoppe gave up no
hits and struck out two. He
seems  like the real thing.
Domingo Gonzalez who was
activated taking Jose Ferrer
spot while on paternity leave.
Most likely return when the
Mariners come home on Friday.

Bryce Miller is expected to
start Wednesday night against
the Astros for the first time of
the season. Not only should
Ferrer be reactivated on Friday
Matt Brash is expected to come
off the injured list. Go M's.
