Another Loss By the Mariners

For the second game in a row the Mariners
lost to the Padres 7-4. It really wasn't that
close until the Mariners rallied in the 8th
inning.

Logan Gilbert struggled giving up three
home runs. The first home run was in the
second but the Mariners couldn't get
any runs themselves. The big inning for
the Padres was the 4th win they scored
four runs including a three run homer
the first of the season he gave up. Prior
to that Gilbert had given up solo home
runs.

The Mariners kept Logan in the game
until the seventh inning with two outs
he gave up a two run homer.  Outside
the three home runs be only gave up
one run.  I expect the Mariners wanted
to keep the bullpen fresh.

Manager Dan Wilson was rejected from
the game before Logan was taken out.
He argued when a Padre check swing
was not called a strike. Though it
didn't allow the Mariners to win I do
home that puts the players in a place
to win several games in a row. Go M's.
