Seahawks Sign First Round Pick

Friday the Seahawks signed Jadarian Price
to a four year contract at $16.8 million.
The first round pick and the last in the
in the round.

Price contract is fully guaranteed. He was
the last of the Seahawks draft picks to
be signed.  The amount is already set
on where the player is set in the draft.
The question is how it is paid.  Price
received a signing bonus included.

This week in ota Price and George Holani
each spent time with the first and second
units. Who exactly will start is not determined yet when the season starts.  The chances
are it will be Price.

Until he was hurt Zach Charbonnett shared
equal time playing with Kenneth Walker III.
This likely will happen with these two
as well when the season begins.

Price and Holani both will get about the
same amount of carries. Being a man
of speed Price will get some carries on
the outside. How productive the fullback
is he will get runs up the middle. Holani
will likely get carries when it is third and
short. The Seahawks new offensive coordinator came from the 49ers where
they used the fullback to run the ball some
to and the Seahawks will give them a few
carries as well. Price is good at receiving
so he will get a few catches. Holani might
if he is able too.

The Mariners haven't used the preseason
to use starters a lot however in  this instance
they will get at least some carries. We will see backups get some time as well. Whoever is
the third running back may get possibly five
carries a game depending on how healthy
these two stay.  Go Hawks.
