Mariners End Losing Streak

After being swept by the Padres
the Mariners stepped up and
beat the Chicago White Sox 6-1.
The White Sox have been playing
pretty well lately so that was good
news.

It is always good to win the opening
of a series as well on Monday. The
Mariners started off well with Julio
hitting a home run in the first inning.
Randy Arozarena and Josh Naylor
continue their hot hitting driving
in the next two runs. Arozarena is
hitting .305 while Naylor got off to
a terrible start is now hitting .306.

Bryan Woo pitched well going six
innings shutting out the White Sox.
Eduardo Bazardo who has been
struggling some of late gave up
a home run. Jose Ferrer and Andre
Munoz each pitched an inning.

Bryce Miller will start Tuesday night
game with Luis Castillo expected
to come in at some point as they
are calling it piggy backing.

None of the teams are doing well
in the American League West so
the Mariners and Rangers are a
game behind the A's.

The Mariners were facing a lefty
so Refsynder and Connor Joe
both started again. Odd they
were batting fifth and sixth.
Neither got a hit so when will
the Mariners stop this unless
these two are replaced.  Go M's.
