the Mariners lost again in extra innings
to the Baltimore Orioles 5-3 in ten
innings. Now they go to Kansas City
for four games followed by three
against the Astros and White Sox.
Not sure what their record is in extra
innings this year however not as good
in past seasons recently. Again the
Mariners couldn't drive in a runner
from second base with no outs.
Two players who were in the Paul Sewald
trade were the ones who scored the
three runs. Josh Rojas scored a run in the
third and fifth inning. Suarez drove him
home with a single then Julio a double.
Dominic Canzone hit a solo home run
to tie the game in the 9th with two outs.
The Orioles had gone ahead in the top
of the 9th. Orioles centerfielder Cedric
Mullins hit a home run with the runner
on base to win in the 10th.
The Mariners will have Logan Gilbert
going Monday night in Kanasas City.
Go M's.
