Mariners End Skid

The Mariners ended the short three
game losing streak beating the Royals
10-8.

The Mariners didn't make it easy on themselves. They scored seven runs
in the 4th inning with four home runs.
In the 5th Hancock gave up five runs
including a grand slam. I guess you
could call it growing pains.

In the 9th inning the Mariners allowed
the Royals to score three runs to tie
at 8-8.  None of the runs were earned
because of a throwing error by Josh
Rojas.

Andre Munoz was the pitcher in the
ninth giving JP two hits and walks.
Though the runs weren't earned I
am wondering like most should he
be the Mariners closer right now.
The answer could be the same for
Matt Brash. Tayler Saucedo pitched
the tenth inning giving up no runs.
Wonder whether he should get a shot
at being the closer.

Ty France had four hits on the day drove
in the two runs in the 10th for the win.
Teoscar Hernandez went five for five.
See these two can continue on Wednesday.
The win didn't  make a difference other than not losing ground as the other main
teams for the playoffs all won too.

Luis Castillo starts Wednesday evening.
Hope he can get back to his old self.
Thursday will be a day game then onto
Houston. George Kirby starts Thursday
to close out the series against the Royals.
Hopefully the end the Mariners would win
three straight. Go M's.
