Vikings Thursday night 24-13.
The Seahawks scored 17 points in the
second half while giving up only 3.
The first half was a downer for sure.
I would call it snooze city.
The first half the Vikings were able to do
what has been the weakness of the
Seahawks defense in running the ball.
Fortunately it was bend not break though
did score ten points.
Drew Lock not only played the first half
some of the second as well. He looked
impressive as the backup quarterback.
Most of the Seahawks starters didn't
play in this game. Easop Winston trying
to make the team as the fourth or fifth
receiver was Lock's favorite receiver
catching three passes and a touchdown.
Also undrafted free agent Jake Bobo
had three catches and a touchdown.
Bobo has been so impressive that he
maybe favored to make the team as
one of the backup receivers.
The Seahawks had 106 yards rushing
on the night all by backups. The Seahawks
have that kind of rushing during the season
will certainly help them out.
One of their receivers trying to make the
ball club was injured and carted off on a
stretcher to the hospital in the second
quarter. Word is Cade's injury is only a
concussion. Whether he will be able
to play in the next preseason game
against Dallas we will have to see.
Expect the next game we will likely see
more of the backups again. Whether Lock
starts or we see Geno Smith instead
Lock should see more action again.
Go Hawks!
