Seahawk Wednesday

The Seattle Seahawks made a couple of moves
since they made their initial roster on Saturday.

The Seahawks waived wide receiver John Ursua
and activated fellow receiver Penny Hart. They
are hoping Ursua will be able to pass waivers to
put on the practice squad. I wonder why Ursua
wasn't waived initially then put on the  practice
squad. The Seahawks must have an idea why they
did so.

They signed fullback Nick Bellore after releasing
him on Saturday.  At the same time offensive lineman
Phil Haynes was put on the injured list.  Haynes could
have been put on the injured list on Saturday, however,
he would have been lost for the year. Haynes might
be out for half of the season instead.

We will see whether any other moves are made before
Sunday's game in Atlanta against the Falcons. I will let
you know any more changes do happen,

Since there hasn't been any pre-season games it will
be interesting to see how things go for the Seahawks
in the opening game. The offense is expected to center
around quarterback Russell Wilson. We know he runs
the offense but expected to be even more involved.

Seeing whether the defense is improved we will see
first hand as well. We know it the first game so whether
the Seahawks win or not things can change over the weeks.

I will not let you know the games go over the coming
season but how many of the players are doing well.
Wednesday's will be on a particular player while Sunday
will be how the game went whether winning or losing.

We do hope this will be a special season for the Seahawks,
however, with covid-19 it could end up being a shorten
season. Major league baseball for the most part has had
a good season playing 60 games which is about a ten week
season compared to 17 weeks for NFL including a week
off for each team.

So let's go Seahawks we are rooting you to the Super Bowl
we hope anyway. Let the games start out well instead of
waiting for the fourth quarter for a surprise comebacks.
The comebacks can be exciting but I know don't want
it to happen very often. Go Hawks.
