Seahawk Wednesday

Training Camp is over for the Seattle Seahawks.
Now they are practicing for the first game of the
season in eleven days against the Falcons in Atlanta.

Since last Wednesday the Seahawks signed former
player Paul Richardson. He spent the last two years
with the Washington Redskins and now he is back.
The Seahawks are expected to be going with five
receivers so where he fits in we will have to see.
Only Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf are for sure.

The rosters are expected to be set at 53 players
on this Saturday at 1 pm well as 16 players on practice
squad. Ten of the players have to be rookies or
those still qualify for what the practice would be
most seasons. Veterans can make up the other six
spots.

On the offense we know Russell Wilson will be the
quarterback along with Lockett and DK Metcalf at
receivers. Greg Olsen and Will Dissly will be two
of the tight ends long as there isn't any injuries to
either one. The offense line Duane Brown at left
tackle, Damien Lewis at right guard, Mike Iupati
at left guard. Who will start at center and right
tackle is still unclear. Chris Carson at running back.

On the defense at the safeties will be Jamal Adams
and Quandre Diggs. Marquise Blair is expected to
play in the nickel. Shaquill Griffin and Quinton
Dunbar at corners and Tre Flowers as the third
corner. Linebackers Bobby Wagner, KJ Wright
and Bruce Irvin  when he is not on the defensive
line. Also top draft pick Jordyn Brooks and second
year Cody Barton will get most of the playing time.
Defensive line at tackle Jarran Reed. We will have
to see who fits the rest of the line starting and backup.

So now we see where things go for the Seahawks.
We know the offense will be centered around quarterback
Russell Wilson while the defense will be around Bobby
Wagner and Jamal Adams. Go Hawks!
