Seahawk Wednesday

The Seahawks are now three and zero after a
wild game against the Dallas Cowboys. It
was a shoot out since both teams threw the
ball a lot more than running the ball. It tells
us how bad the passing defense is for both
teams.

I am sure injuries played a part in why the
defense wasn't so good for the Seahawks.
The cornerbacks aren't very good in my
estimation. Shaquill Griffin I didn't think
played up to his pro bowl status other than
on a couple of plays.

His brother Shaquem Griffin played a lot
better game than he did. This was Shaquem's
first action of the season coming off the
practice squad where he spent the first two
weeks.

A look at the injuries this week Coach Pete
Carroll mentioned in his Monday's press
conference.

Rookie right guard Damien Lewis sprained
his ankle, however, should be ready for
Sunday's game in Miami. Jamal Adams
had a groin injury not sure he will be
playing against the Dolphins, however,
since he was a member of the New York
Jets he can give a lot of insight on Miami.

Running back Chris Carson hurt his knee.
Pete Carroll was upset on how he was hurt
in the game. We will have to see whether
Carson will be able to go or not.

First round pick Jordyn Brooks made his
first start of his career against the Cowboys.
Unfortunately he was hurt as well with a
knee. How he responds this week will be
whether he plays or not according to Carroll.

Safety Lano Hill and cornerback Quinton
Dunbar missing the game Sunday are
expected to play this week. With Adams
possibly out it will be important for Hill
to be available.

Against Miami we hope quarterback
Russell Wilson will keep doing what
he has and the defense to play better
ball. The Seahawks should be able to
make it four wins to start the season.
Go Hawks!
