Seahawks Make It Two

I am not sure it was luck or the Seahawks
defense step up to the occasion at the end
of the ball game. The final score was
Seattle 35 New England 30.

Usually the Seahawks do well in the 4th
quarter this time the Patriots did better
getting a chance to win the game. You
could say they should have won the game.
I am sure the Patriots fans think so.

The score was Seattle 28 NE 17 at the
end of the 3rd quarter. The 3rd quarter
was the Seahawks best quarter at least
in scoring points with 14.

The scoring in the game got off to a
quick start when Greg Olsen wasn't
able to catch the first play of the game
and the Patriots took it in for a touchdown.
At least the Seahawks didn't panic; they
came back to score a touchdown themselves
leaving the end of the first quarter.

The game wasn't decided until the last
play of the game. The Patriots were down
on the Seahawks goal line. Quarterback
Cam Newton had already scored two
touchdowns running the ball. Both were
easy touchdowns so the thought of him
running for the touchdown made perfect
sense but the Seahawks had other ideas
so that is how it ended.

Russell Wilson threw a perfect pass to
DK Metcalf in the second quarter to tie
the game at half time at 14-14.

The Seahawks didn't take their first lead
until into the third quarter when they
scored the first of two touchdowns.
The Patriots kicked a field before hand.

The fourth quarter was exciting quarter.
Having the outcome not come until the
final play is always great. Now we hope
the Seahawks and Patriots play again in
the Super Bowl.

Russell Wilson had another great game
throwing the ball completing 21 out of
28 passes for 288 yards. Weernt for five
touchdowns.

The Seahawks rushed the ball 30 times
for 154 yards. Chris Carson led them
with 17 carriers for 72 yards.

Tyler Lockett led the Seahawks in
receptions with seven including a
touchdown. DK Metcalf led in
yardage with 92.

The Arizona Cardinals and the
LA Rams both won as well so
there is a three way tie for first
place in the NFC West. The 49ers
won to be even. They had four
costly injuries that could cost
them the rest of the way.

The Seahawks will take on
the Dallas Cowboys next
Sunday at home. See if the
Seahawks can start out with
three victories. Go Hawks!
