Padres Friday night 5-1. The
Padres are second to the
Dodgers in the NL West and
played well at home.
The Mariners only won one
game against the Yankees
in the last home series and
swept by the Blue Jays before
that. The Oakland A's didn't
win well either. They are now
in fourth place. Rangers and
Astros are ahead of the A's.
Rookie Logan Evans had his
best start going six innings.
He gave up seven hits however
no runs and walked only one
and struck out four. The Mariners
should have George Kirby soon
and Logan Gilbert shortly after.
Likely Evans will be sent back to
Tacoma but will be available
if needed again.
JP Crawford was back in the
lineup after missing Wednesday
game against the Yankees. He
led off the game with a home run.
Rowdy Tellez hit a two-run homer
in the 4th inning. Cal Raleigh had
his 14th homer in.the sixth
inning also for two runs.
The bullpen did a good job.
Collin Snider gave up the
only hit and run from the
relievers in three innings.
Emerson Hancock starts
Saturday evening for the
Mariners. Be nice if he can
go six innings too. Go.M's.
