Mariners Win Late Again

Friday night looked a lot like most of

the Mariners wins on the season.

The Houston Astros were leading

3-2 heading into the seventh inning.

Julio Rodriguez hit a double to

drive in JP Crawford who had two

hits on the night. Cal came up

and hit a two-run homer and that

was it. 

Earlier Traveras had a home run in

the third inning. He is getting hot

having three hits on the night.

Miles Mastrobuino had a home run 

in the fifth. He was playing second

base. I expect he will be at third

on Saturday or Sunday giving 

Williamson a day off.

Emerson Hancock went six innings

giving up the three runs on  nine hits.

He had eight groundouts to keep

the infield busy. Matt Brash pitched

the 7th followed by Vargas in the

eighth. Munoz did his thing in the.9th. 

Now has 17 saves.

The Mariners have a Saturday 

afternoon game in Houston

with Bryan Woo on the mound.
