Seahawks Linebackers

The Seahawks have listed four

linebackers on the depth chart.

Most likely they will be playing 

three often and occasion four.

The outside linebackers these

days are called edge rushers too.

The two first strings are Demarcus

Lawrence who thr Seahawks 

signed as a free agent and Uchenna

Nwosu. Lawrence played last year

for the Cowboys. Derrick Hall who

will be coming into his third year

is his backup. Boys Mafe will be

Nwosu backup. 

At the inside linebacker spot are 

Ernest Jones IV at middle linebacker

who made a big difference after

being traded from Tennessee and

Tyrice Knight at the weakside linebacker. Knight was a fourth

round pick who played more when

the Seahawks released the other

inside linebackers when Jones 

came aboard. Drake Thomas is

Knight's backup while Josh Ross

for Jones. Both will see a lot of

time on special teams. 

Next time we will look at the

defensive backs. Generally

they go with five in the game.
