Mariners Late Rally Win

Tuesday night was another close
game between the Seattle Mariners
and the A's.

Cal Raleigh for the first time on the
season didn't start a game whether
catcher or dh. The Mariners knew
they could use him if necessary
late in the game.

This happened in the ninth inning
with the bases loaded and down
by a run Cal Raleigh came in and
pinch hit for Mitch Garver. He hit
a single to right field scoring two
runs. Dylan Moore who was activated
off the injured list added another
run to make a two run lead which
was the final score 5-3.

Emerson Hanock started the game
and was able to go six innings giving
up two runs. Matt Brash came in
the seventh getting two.outs. Gabe
Speier finished the inning however
gave up the go ahead ahead run at
the time. Collin Snider pitched the
eighth. Carlos Vargas pitched the
ninth recording his first save.

In a surprise move the Mariners
acquired outfielder Leody Traveras
off waivers from the Texas Rangers.
Not sure he will be available available available or not he will be in Seattle
for the series against Toronto.
Go M's.
