Frustration in Mariners Land Again

Tuesday evening the Mariners began their two

game series against the Houston Astros 

we would have thought they would have

played better however the Mariners have 

done the opposite.  

Logan Gilbert who earlier was the Mariners 

best starting pitcher at home but recently 

has struggled.  The first inning he gave

up four hits however he got out of it by giving 

up only one run. Maybe a good sign for the

team. 

Though he has a little trouble in the 2nd 

the Astros scored no runs. The third

inning Gilbert gave up a three run homer 

to  Christian Walker.  Logan only went 

one more inning.

Jose Ferrer came in the 5th where he

gave up no runs however in the sixth 

inning  Ferrer gave up a solo home run. 

In the 8th the Astros added two more 

runs.

The Mariners were shutout having 

only four hits and five walks above 

that. 

One more left against the Astros. 

The Mariners Lose Wednesday 

it is over or the Rangers win.

So not great odds even with 

six games remaining. Go M's.
