found out that the Texas Rangers had won
their game so the Mariners were eliminated
from the playoffs. Later the Astros won as
well.
Rookie Brock Rodden was put on the injured
list so infielder Leo Rivas was recalled to
finish the season.
The Mariners end up losing to the Angels
as well 6-4 to end the night.
The Angels scored first in the 2nd inning
with a run. The Mariners responded in the
bottom of the inning with a two run homer
by Julio. Josh Naylor walked followed by
a single by Cole Young. Laz Montes ground
moving Naylor to third and Young out at 2nd.

Mariners 3 Angels 1
Top of the fifth the Angels scored twice
to tie 3-3. The bottom of the 5th JP
Crawford scored from third on a wild pitch
making it 4-3. The 6th inning the Angels
took the lead again for the final time. Began
with a walk and hit by a pitch. Christian
Moore hits a double with both runners
scoring. The Angels scored final run in
the 8th. After a walk and two outs scored
on single.
Now with three games remaining we will
see how things go and what changes
might happen. There is thought that
manager Dan Wilson will be fired.
Bryce Miller last start will be Friday.
The highlight will be the retirement
party of Mariners play by play radio
announcer Rick Rizz. Go M's.
