Washington Huskies Win Third in a Row

The Washington Huskies played better
Saturday late afternoon beating Eastern 
Washington  48-13.

The Huskies had their best game of the
three. In the first quarter the Huskies.
had two touchdowns and Eastern Washington 
had a field goal in between them.

In the second quarter Eastern Washington 
had a touchdown early on making it
Washington 14-10. The closest they got
in the game.  They had an interception 
where the Huskies were in the area to
score. Huskies qb was hit while releasing 
the ball.  Desmond Williams Jr had  to
be checked out before coming back in.

The Huskies defense were able to stop
Easter Washington without getting a
first down.  The Huskies were able to
end the quarter with two touchdowns 
and a field goal.  Wide receiver Rashid
Williams who missed last weeks game
had a touchdown catch in both the first
and second quarter. At half the Huskies 
lead 31-10.

At the 10:44 of the third quarter EW 
kicked a field goal. At the 3:08 left
the Huskies had a one yard run. This
was just after tight end  Baron Naone 
came up short on 75 yard pass.
Score  Washington 38 EW 13

In the 4th quarter  EW had another 
field goal and the last score they 
had in the game at 13:07.  The 
Huskies had a field goal at 5:57.
On 3rd down they just missed a
touchdown. It looked the receiver
came up short however it was 
ruled an incomplete pass.

At the 3:40 the Huskies brought 
in backup quarterback Elijah Brown.
He threw a shovel pass to wide
receiver Trez Davis for a two yard
touchdown at 1:10 remaining in
the game and that was it.

On the sidelines head coach Jedd 
Fisch after the game. It was 
improvement however they will
need to do better next week at
home in the opening game against.
