Washington State Cougars Lose Wide Receiver

The Washington State Cougars announced
Monday that their number one receiver Tony
Freeman is out for the season with a torn
ACL. Freeman was also their return man on
special teams.

Freeman was injured in the Apple Cup just
like two of the Huskies running backs were.
The Cougars are looking at a four man
rotation among their wide receivers. Though
they go with three receivers it is possible
they will go with two tight ends more often.
They may have to add one of the less experience
receivers to the group to gain playing time.

The Cougars are much   like Huskies where they
struggling on the offense. Against Kansas State
they threw for only 67 yards while running game
did go over one hundred yards.

The Huskies have struggled more on the running
game though Desmond Williams Jr somewhat in
the passing game too.

Cougars quarterback Caden Pinnick didn't handle
it well in post conference on Saturday.  So on
Monday in his press conference be apologized
on his actions. A transfer he didn't have the
issues at UC Davis.  So we will see how he
and the Cougars do this coming Saturday.
The team they play isn't up to the level of
Washington and Kansas State  defenses.
Go Cougars.
