8-4 Saturday evening to get the first
win after losing the first two games
of the series.
The sad part of the game rookie pitcher
Kade Anderson was going well then in
the 4th inning a line drive hit his left
arm which was bruised. He hadn't given
up a run and it was his 4th hit given up.
It looks like he will be ok although not
a great way to go into into the off-season.
Laz Montes hit a double to score Cole
Young in the 2nd inning. In the bottom
of the 4th Leo Rivas hit a sacrifice fly
scoring Young again. The Mariners
scored two more runs in the 5th and.
Young drove in one of the runs.
The Angels tied the game in the sixth
with four runs. In the 7th Taylor Ward
hit a single scoring Michael Arroyo
and who else Cole Young. JP Crawford
hit a two run homer with Ward scoring
ahead of him.
Julio Rodriguez didn't play in this game.
The Mariners had Randy Arozarena in
center. Michael Arroyo was in left again
and had three hits. Montes played in
right. Tomorrow will be the final game
of the season with Logan Gilbert on
the mound and Rick Rizz last broadcast.
We hope the Mariners will win.
Tomorrow morning will let you know
how the Huskies game goes as they
are play a late game. Currently Minnesota
is leading 21-10 in the third quarter.
