over the Washington State Cougars in
late Saturday game in Pullman.
Arizona has a 2-1 record on the season.
The only loss was to conference foe
BYU in week 2 which makes it difficult
when they get back to play in the
conference. They had strong play in
against the other two smaller schools.
The Cougars had tough times against
Washington Huskies in game 1 and
Kansas State in game 2. They were
able to beat who they had to in
game 3. This game will be a tough
one for the Cougars as it was against
their first two games. Hopefully last
weeks game will give more confidence
for them. The second half was when the
game broke open..
These four games will prepare the Cougars
when they open Pac-12 play but won't
know until it happens. The Cougars defense
was a surprise when they played the Huskies
in game one.
Pinnick the Cougars quarterback will
have to improve more in his passing
game. Maybe they will need to put in
some trick plays or unconventional
ones for sure. They have to get off to
a good start and not make turnovers
while causing one or two.
The Cougars running game was going
last week. The Wildcats are good against
the run. On the passing game they rotate
their linebackers and edge rushers so
Cougars must be good offensively again
and it won't be easy.
The Wildcats go with Kendrick Reescano
as their primary running back. Quarterback
Noah Fifita will run the ball some to do
Cougars will have to be careful.
Fifita is a quick read so he will get the
ball out fast so the Cougars defense
will have to be fast to react. He throws
a lot of short to medium passes. He
completes a lot of them too.
Tri Spivey is the Wildcats deep threat.
Chris Hunter III is the one out on
side the Cougars will have to try to
stop and Isaiah Mizzell is their
possession receiver. Tight end
Tyler Powell the Cougars will have
to stop him in short yards and in
the red zone.
We wish the Cougars the very best
this weekend in every. Go Cougs.
