Sunday afternoon in Colorado 2-1.
A great pitching matchup at Coors Field
where runs happen often.
Kade Anderson had his best game so
far. He went seven innings giving up
three hits, no walks, seven strike outs
and no runs. Mariners be in good position
if he does this often next season.
Andre Munoz gave up a home run in the
9th inning. He had to leave the game
hurtin his right leg after walking the ball.
Ironically Eduardo Bazardo who recently
has given up several home runs came
in for him. He walked a batter but struck
out two to end the game.
Dominic Canzone no doubt was the hitter
of the game. In the 4th he singled with
Randy Arozarena coming home. In the
6th he hit a double driving in JP Crawford.
Canzone had two of the Mariners four
hits. Crawford had one that he scored on
and Julio the second. Arozarena walked
before his score.
The Mariners have Monday off before
facing the Houston Astros on Tuesday
and Wednesday. The Astros and Rangers
both lost Sunday so the Rangers are still
up by a game. The Mariners will help in
one way or another to who wins the
division. I am sure they hope that they
keep the Astros out. Go M's.
