when he started for his first game on
Wednesday night walking, single and
home run with 2 rbis.
Some fans and media were upset
that he didn't start against a lefty on
Wednesday against the Red Sox.
Fortunately the Mariners won which
they have had problems winning
against lefties. Maybe having Montes
in the clubhouse and on the bench
helped anyways.
The Mariners start a four game series
against the A's starting Thursday evening.
Thursday the A's are starting a right
hander in the game so we should see
him starting. I expect he will dh again.
I look forward to see him in the outfield
at some point.
Friday and Saturday games it hasn't been
announced who will start for the A's.
Sunday's game the A's are starting a lefty.
Depending how Montes is playing it
would be nice to see him in the game.
Comes down to starting as well.
When it comes to Brendan Donovan no
news yet whether he will be activated
today or in this series. Stay tuned.
Go M's.
