Seahawks Injury Report Into Game One

The Seahawks have three safeties on
the active roster.  Starter Ty Okada
likely going to miss the game with a
hamstring.

Second year safety Nick Emmanwori
had ankle surgery during camp. He
likely play at least some of the game
hopefully. Though listed as safety
Nick can be seen all over the defense
in the same manner as Devon Witherspoon.
This means that the Seahawks often
do not take players out on either passing
or running plays by the opposition.

The Seahawks have four safeties on the
practice squad. A team can only activate
two players in a given week  from the
practice squad.  There are six players
each week that are selected from the
53 man roster not be activated for a
game.

So the Seahawks will likely activate
two safeties from the practice squad.
Most likely Rodney Thomas II and
D'Anthony Bell who are the most
veteran of the four.  This could come
down to what the four bring to the
table.

Two other Seahawks players on the
53 man roster who could be inactivate
for game one is wide receiver Tory
Horton who has had to deal with a
hamstring injury and offensive lineman
Josh Jones with a knee injury. The
Seahawks do have ten offensive
lineman on the roster. If he is inactive
means they will have four remaining
lineman as backups.

The Seahawks  have ten defensive
lineman on the roster so we could
see one of them inactive and the
same goes for linebackers and
edge rushers.

Generally the Seahawks start two
inside and outside linebackers each
with three lineman.  Again with the
versatility of Witherspoon and
Emmanwori one or the other could
come inside on any given down.
They could come in on the rush.

Though there are others who have
dealt with nagging injuries the rest
should be ready to go.
