Washington Huskies Upset At home

The  Minnesota Golden Golphers beat 

the Washington Huskies Saturday night 

at  Husky Stadium 27-24.

The Golden Golphers at 6:46 of the

first quarter they had a hard rush 

Huskies quarterback Desmond 

Williams Jr.. Instead of taking the

the sack the ball was intercepted 

when attempting the pass. The

first play they scored on a 12 yard 

touchdown pass. Less than five 

minutes later Minnesota quarterback 

Drake Lindsey threw another td this

to wide receiver Jalen Smith making

it 14-0.

Two minutes into the second quarter 

Williams three a touchdown pass to

receiver Dezman Roebuck for 16 yards.

That made it a touchdown down for

the Huskies and maybe they will be

on a roll. It didn't happen and Lindsey 

threw another touchdown pass at 5:48

to go in the first half.  The Huskies 

kicked a 33 yard field goal at 1:57.

The first half ended Minnesota 21-10.

The Golden Golphers had the only

score in the third quarter less than

s minute to go.  The Huskies Williams 

threw two touchdown passes in the

4th quarter and between them 

Minnesota kicked a field goal for

the win. 

Next Saturday the Huskies will see if

they can beat the USC Trojans in Los 

Angeles for first Big Ten win. The 

Trojans lost to Oregon Ducks at home 

Saturday 41-27.  The Huskies will see

they can do the same. Go Dawgs.
