not doing well as the offense is
starting to get better.
Luis Castillo and the Mariners
lost Saturday afternoon 8-4.
One off the few games when
scoring at least four runs they
don't win.
Castillo was only able to go five
innings and giving up five of the
eight runs. Royals scored a run in
the first and second inning. The
Mariners scored in the first inning
however couldn't hold unto the
lead.
The Mariners scored two runs in
the fifth inning to take the lead
temporarily once again. In the
bottom of the fifth scoring five
more against Castillo. He left
the game down 5-3.
The Mariners scored a run in the
sixth inning to come within one
run. The Royals ended up scoring
two runs 7-4. The Mariners could
not shake that lead not scoring
again.
JP Crawford once again led off the
game with a solo home run. Later
on Mitch Garver who is starting to
hit a solo home run as well.
Kirby Snead who has pitched
well some when arrived gave up
the two runs in the sixth inning.
Collin Snider recently called up
pitched another inning gave up
no runs. In the 8th inning Trent
Thorton who.pitched well Friday
have up a fun. With Munoz not
pitching lately Thornton and Stanek
have been pitching a lot lately.
The Mariners were missing Ty France
who missed the game by being hit
Friday night. There is possibility Ty
could go on the injured list. Who would
take his position on the roster is a few possibilities. They could bring up
Tyler Locklear who is having a good
year in double A and recently promoted
to Tacoma. A decision might be
made whether Jorge Polanco maybe
available soon too. Luke Raley started
at first on Saturday while Dylan Moore
was in left field. Go Mariners
.
