The Seahawks New Offense

This coming season it will be
interesting to see the new look
of the Seattle Seahawks offense.

It is possible we may see some of
the offense that was under Pete
Carroll and the different offensive
coordinators over the years.

The Seahawks want to be physical
in the running game and be a major
part of the offense. The passing
will still be shown. Under the coaching
of Ryan Grubb I expect to see surprises
like he had at University of Washington.

Head coach Michael Macdonald said
during the ota's and minicamps that
DK Metcalf will be shown a lot more
in the passing game.  I expect under
the play calling of Ryan Grubb we will
see Metcalf get the ball a lot like Rome
Odunze did at Washington. Not only
will he be thrown long passes I could
see Metcalf catching short passes
and running the ball after the catch
since he is s physical player. Those
short passes will be to the running
backs  too.

I expect the Seahawks will have at
least once or twice have reverses
in the game as well. Tyler Lockett
has been used this way however
I could see Metcalf doing so too.
We will still see long passes in
the Seahawks games in the same
manner as before however could be
used as a surprise. How well this
happens comes down is the offensive
line. Last year they had injuries and
why the running game wasn't good.

We should see more of the tight ends
in the passing game especially with
Noah Fant. We will see a lot of two
tight ends for blocking purposes to.
One could lineup as a fullback as well.
We could see two running backs in
the game too. We should be open to
anything.

On defense it will be interesting to
see as well. How much of the defense
that Macdonald used at Baltimore will
come down to the personal. Next time
on the Seahawks we will look at the
Seahawks defense. Go team.
