Cougars on the first day of signing.
The Huskies ended up 23 players on
the first day to sign. They ended up
losing one player Dre Pollard who
decided to go to Stanford instead.
So their ranking actually changed
from 15 to 13 with 27 signings so
far. Who knows maybe they will
have more depending on whether
anyone goes through the transfer
portal. The Huskies are showing
they are serious.
Kodi Greene offensive tackle is
the only Husky who is a five stars.
I expect that he will start next season
for the Huskies. They have only one
other offensive tackle. Ah Deong Yang
from Puyallup likely play at guard.
Derek Zemmit is the lone quarterback
in this group. He is three star out of
New Jersey. Derek was pursued by
Alabama as well..Three teams out
of the Big Ten were interested in
him including nearby Rutgers.
The Huskies have two running backs,
Four wide receivers with three being
four star recruits which is a good sign.
One tight end Sam Vyhlidal out of
Lake Oswego Oregon and is three
star.
On defense three defensive lineman
with two being four star. One edge rusher,
two inside linebackers, one safety, four
corners and CJ Wallace at kicker.
Let's see how these all work out.
The Cougars signed 27 players. Most
are three star players. They signed
Hudson Kurland the loan quarterback
out of Lake Oswego Oregon. Ten offense
players, three players listed as athletes
so could be running back, wide receiver
or defensive back. Signed a long snapper.
So 23 players listed as defensive players
We wish all these guys well in Pullman.
Go Cougs!
