after being blown by Michigan
the Zags won big themselves
once again. It was somewhat
close for a little while at the
start of the game with North
Florida hitting a few 3 point shots
however at the eight minute mark
left in the first half the Zags went
on a 20-0 run before North Florida
hit a three. It was clear sailing
from there on.
Final Gonzaga 109 North Florida 58
The Zags were without their best
player in Graham Ike who missed
the game because of his left ankle
Since they were not playing a team
that give them a game they rested
him for precautions. Braden Huff
led the Zags with 24 points and
the only starter who played over
20 minutes.
The Zags dominated in rebounding
and points inside. The difference
in the game. The Michigan where
they were blown out the Zags have
trouble with teams with good big
men however can dominate those
who do not.
Gonzaga's next game will be at
the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle
against the UCLA Bruins this coming
Saturday night. This will be another
good test for the Zags. Go team.
