are made of and could be a good team
in the Big Ten.
The Huskies were down by 18 points
at halftime and made their move in
second half and finally taking over
and won 84-76 at the USC Trojans
who are a good team too.
Hanes Steinbach led the Huskies
with 24 points and 16 rebounds.
This was his his second game back
after missing a few games. Steinbach
is showing to be one of the top rebounders
in the Big Ten if not the whole country.
He is always at the right spot.
Desmond Claude who missed the
Early part of the season was second
leading scorer with 22 points. Claude
who played for USC last season along
with Steinbach were the two main
players who got the Huskies back into
the game and over the hump. Both
made some key 3 pointers. The Trojans
kept it close down the stretch with a
fre of their own 3 pointers but couldn't
reestablish the lead.
The Huskies went with four guards
much of the second half along with
Steinbach in the middle. With this
talented group we could see more
of them in the game. Yates added
16 points. Besides those three we
could see Zoom Diallo and Quimari
Peterson in the game at the same
time. Peterson who has started a
few games has primarily come off
the bench.
The Huskies don't play again until
next Saturday. We hope more healthy
players to face Southern Utah at
home. Go Dawgs!
