WSU Wins Saturday

The Washington State Cougars had
their last game of non-league games
and now will look to play last season
in the West Coast Conference after
two seasons.

They beat Mercer at home 84-78.
The Cougars were able to get the
lead up to 11 points to hold Mercer
off. Mercer took and scored more
field goals  however the Cougars
did make more threes and foul shots.

Ace Glass the Cougars outstanding
freshman led the team with 24 points.
Ace made 8 of 14 shots from the
field while making five of seven from
the field. For the Cougars to have a
good conference record against some
hard teams like Gonzaga and St. Mary's
he will have to score in the 20s or close
to it.

Eemeli Yalaho  led the Cougars with ten
rebounds and second with 14 points.

The Cougars are on holiday break until
December 28 when they play Portland.
Go Cougs!
