Saturday Cougars Beat Beavers in Pullman

The WSU Cougars came back on
Saturday to beat the Beavers 32-8.
This was after Oregon State beat
them on November 1st. 10-7.

The Cougars had a field goal in
the first quarter followed by another
one in the second. They had a touchdown
run just over 11 minutes remaining
in the first half. A one yard pass just
under two minutes remaining in the
half

The Cougars had a five yard run by
quarterback Zevi Eckhaus for the
only score of the third quarter.  The
extra point was missed.  The Beavers
finally had a touchdown at 5:49 left
in the game and made a two point
conversation. It didn't take long
as the Cougars scored again in
40 seconds.

The Cougars defense did a good
job as they sacked the Beavers
quarterback six times.

On Friday the Beavers hired their
next head coach. He is Alabama
Co-ordinator  JaMarcus Shephard.
If his name is familiar he was with
the Huskies when Kalen DeBoer
was head coach and went to
Alabama with him.

Beating the Beavers the Cougars
became bowl eligible at 6-6.
So one more game on the season.
Go Cougs!
